Meaning and Definition – Muscles in an average human body constitute 40% of the body’s weight ,there about 600 muscles in a human body.All these muscles put together form muscular system.The muscular system is a network of muscles and tissues which control the body’s movement. All the activities which the body performs (i.e., jumping ,smiling & running etc.) happen due to the contraction and relaxation of the muscles.
